Lately I’ve felt like I’m running to keep from getting crushed by a big boulder. Lots of 
work (which is good, but it’s lots of work), trying to stay well and not get the Swine or something, and trying to just keep somewhat organized.
But as I’ve said on this blog before, I think it’s important to not only be thankful, but to actually express it occasionally. So here we go…
Thankful for an incredible day with the Lovely Miss Courtney (the LMC);
Thankful for bagels (part of the incredible day with the LMC);
Thankful for a good place to live;
Thankful for noticing today that Catalina Island, on a clear day like today, looks kind of like the Lochness Monster. Hey, it’s those little insights that keep things fun;
Thankful for new piano/guitar students. So far I’ve managed to keep the guitar students fooled into thinking I know what I’m talking about;
Thankful it’s trash day tomorrow so the two pumpkins Courtney and I carved last week can go away;
Thankful for those random morning visits from the gray cat from next door;
Thankful that God is much, much kinder to me than I deserve. I’m not just saying that. I’ve done way more things wrong than right in the past several years, and yet I’ve never felt his hand in my life more.
