Tune It or Die

My wife says I’m not the right kind of person to wear this t-shirt.  I’ve been tempted for weeks to buy one, but I won’t. She’s probably right.

But I still feel strongly about it. Please know that while I don’t wear the message on my body, the message is engraved deep in my heart.

Worship people, performers, musicians of all kinds…

TUNE YOUR STINKING NSTRUMENTS!!!!

The janitor at my nephew’s school is a bit of an inventor kind of guy and he invented an electronic guitar tuner that clips on to your guitar and turns the tuning keys automatically. It *almost* works and the guitar sounds *almost* tuned when it is done. I expect it would be a great accompaniment to the t-shirt.

Well, it seems that many people already play “almost” in tune most of the time, even without your nephew’s janitor’s invention.

It’s the rest of the way – that distance between “almost in tune” and “actually in tune” that we need to fix.

What if the whole group is off tune, but off tune together? Does that still make you mad?
