It’s almost 8pm on the west coast, and I assume this High School Musical II thing (HSM II) is about to start, or maybe has started by now. I’m not up on the details.
I’m not saying I have a problem with HSM II. What I AM saying is – I never heard of the thing until today. But that may be because I never heard of the FIRST HSM until quite a long time after it happened. And I don’t think I ever actually heard any of the music from HSM version one until probably June of this year.
I found out yesterday that the City of Torrance Youth Theater is (probably) going to do a stage production of HSM version one soon. Now I understand why – there’s all the hype about version two. OK, I get it finally. Sorry for being so late in this thing. So I guess I’ll be learning some of this music after all.
That being said, I probably won’t watch it tonight. And probably not for a while, if I get around to it at all. But the rest of you, have a great time!

All music teachers must be up on the HSM series. Perhaps you can catch the Sunday version – where they do it with the words to the songs on screen.
Maybe I’ll just wait for the DVD.
