OK For a Day

In a few hours, I have to get on a plane and go to Oklahoma, spend the night there, and return tomorrow.

My mom has been visiting here for the past month, since most of my extended family lives here. She, however, lives most of the time with one of my sisters in Oklahoma (which, as I understand it, is where the wind comes sweeping down the plain).

Since she’s kind of old and frail, she doesn’t want to and shouldn’t travel alone. And since I’m enjoying my new-found freedom on weekends, I’m elected to go with her.

Pray for us – she’s not doing well, and she gets really nervous when she travels. She needs to use a wheelchair, and she doesn’t see very well. I don’t want her to fall, or choke, or anything else. Pray that we will have an uneventful flight from LA to Denver, and then on to Tulsa.

Bye until I get back.

Am praying for nothing but sweet peace as your travel to and fro, Bro! What a sweet use of your new freedom on the weekends! O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A, Oklahoma!! Have fun and enjoy this precious time with your Mom, and to quote her, “Don’t get ugly!” 😉
Happy Flying and hope they don’t show, “The HIndenburg” as the feature film.
    XOXO
