I’ve Reached the Pinnacle of Coffee

This morning I made coffee as I usually do at home – grinding the beans first, and then making it in my Bunn coffeemaker. There’s a very good chance, however, that I’ll never drink coffee again after this morning. For some reason, or some constellation of reasons, this morning’s coffee was so gosh-darned freakin’ good, that I’m afraid any coffee I ever have again will be a big disappointment.

I’ve commented on this phenomenon before. Coffee is always a good thing, but sometimes it’s just incredible, where all the forces that govern coffee come together in that one cup and make it astounding. That happened this morning.

Oh sure, there are other important things in the world to write about, like what kind of dog the Obama’s are getting for example, but this is breaking news. Coffee can never possibly be better than the cup I have sitting next to me at this very moment.

Ahhh…I LOVE when that happens (and it doesn’t often!) To me, any coffee is good cofee (and yes, even if it’s been sitting out all day…with a dead gnat floating in it…haha just kidding…I think??!!) Yay for you!! Thank God for those little pleasures in life! Enjoy!! XO
