Being Known For Mercy

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.” (Matt. 5:7)

Tonight at Mosaic (my church), Erwin spoke about Mercy, as he continued to work his way through the Matthew section called The Beatitudes.

I’m gonna have to download the podcast in a few days and go through this thing again. I don’t always listen to every podcast, but I’ll need this one.

I don’t make these recommendations often. But if the idea of mercy or being merciful is intriguing to you, or challenging to you – go to Itunes, go to Podcasts, and subscribe to the Mosaic Podcast. It’s free. If you want, just get the one from March 22 about Mercy and then you can cancel, if you don’t want a bunch of stuff crowding your Itunes.

In the meantime, here ‘s a quote I jotted down in the old Blackberry…

How is it we’re not more defined by mercy than by arrogance?

Anyway, I’ll be going through this one again a few times.

Wow, I love the mercy. And strive to be merciful. It’s a process.

It’s so basic “do unto others” but then all of a sudden, opinions start crowding out the poor little mercy seed trying to take root… Oh, mercy me! XO
