Heck of a Day for the Obama’s

The Obama Family has had a good day.

First, Barak has won the Nobel Peace Prize. To quote the Nobel Peace Prize people, he won it for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.”

I’m not really sure what that sentence exactly means, but it definitely seems impressive. If I understood what that meant, I’d attempt to do it, too, and maybe I could snag one of them Nobel prizes my own self.

Barak’s response – “I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations to confront the challenges of the 21st century.”

I’m not really sure what that response means,  either. Apparently, other nations weren’t planning to confront the challenges of the 21st century before, but I guess now they will. So that’s good.

But the icing on the Obama/Nobel cake today, and in my mind, the significant event for the Obama’s … it’s the First Dog’s birthday. Bo the dog (above, right) , or as I like to call him, “Bobama,” turned one today. As I understand it, Bo is also hypo-allergenic. Maybe he should have received a Nobel Prize as well. Just saying.

Congratulations Barak, and Happy Birthday Bo!

Thanks for that. I needed some perspective on the events of the day and a good chuckle…Bobama the dog? ROTFL

Do you need an “s” on peoples?

And should the title “Obama’s” have an apostrophe?

That is one cute dog, by the way.
