If you’ve followed this blog for a while, you may recall that occasionally I have to write a “thankful” post. So that’s what I’m doing tonight. There are a several reasons for this. One, it’s Thanksgiving week and it seems like a good time. Two, I haven’t been writing as much on the blog lately and need to get back into it, and this seems like a good way (and an easy way). Three, being thankful is good for you. Four, well, there is no four.
So here we go – a random, though not exhaustive, list of things I’m thankful for:
The stuffed Christmas penguin that sits on my piano year around – no one knows why, but it seems important that he’s there;
The Lovely Miss Courtney;
Jesus;
The Foghorn Lighthouse Swing Band;
The ukulele;
Loving One by One Ministries, Waking Up in Africa, and Uganda in general;
Headphones;
The wheel (seriously – whoever came up with that was a freaking genius);
A full schedule of piano students;
A cool place to work;
Trader Joe’s (I’ve decided Trader Joe’s is such a good friend, I’m now calling it “Trader Bro’s”).
Happy Thanksgiving.
