An Audience Participation Game – Put Quotation Marks Here!

You’re probably familiar with the “air quote” concept…. if you say something that you don’t really believe, or have doubts about, or are looking for an alternative to the “yeah, right” wink, you use air quotes. You raise both hands, with two fingers in the air on each hand, as though making quotation marks in the air. Like this…

So here’s the fun blog audience participation game. There are many phrases or words out there which are so ludicrous, they’re begging to be air-quoted. Your job, if you choose to play, is to contribute to the list.

Here are a few of mine to get you started:

Transportation “Safety” Administration

The Building Where Congress “Works”

School “Talent” Show

Country “Music”

Ok readers – let’s see your “ideas!”
