Today it starts, as I and three other people will leave Los Angeles and fly to London. There, we will connect with several other team members who will join us on our next flight into Entebbee, Uganda, where we will connect with the rest of our Loving One by One team, coming on other flights from other cities. Somehow, we’ll put too much luggage onto a bus, along with ourselves and a crazy bus driver named Henry. Then  we’ll be off.

Uganda is a great place, with some incredible people. But it’s also a dark place, where two years ago I saw and worked in some of the worst conditions that exist anywhere. Conditions that can only be described as dark and hopeless. Pray for us as we do what we can to bring light and hope.

Light, hope, and of course, ukuleles. Yeah baby.
