I’m going to tell you my new favorite verse from the Bible.
But before that, I want to tell my my FORMER favorite verse, one that I’ve enjoyed for quite a while. My FORMER favorite verse is Exodus 16:36 – “An omer is one-tenth of an ephah.”
How cool is that?? But here’s my NEW favorite verse…
Ezra 6:11 – “Furthermore I decree that if anyone changes this edict, a beam is to be pulled from his house and he is to be lifted up and impaled on it. And for this crime his house is to be made a pile of rubble.”
This will now be the new rule for people who get on my nerves.
**Disclaimer – the above is intended for entertainment purposes only, and is not meant to be disrespectful of the Bible, which not only contains crucial, life-giving words, but also contains some pretty darn funny stuff!
i tried that the other day, but it was REALLY HARD to impale someone on a house beam… you have to sharpen one end to a rather fine point.
That’s hilarious – you’re sick!
Wow, the blog is looking beautiful!
Oh, and my favorite verse: “Wives, obey your stupid husbands.”
