Today is Saturday, and maybe I’ll do some laundry. Or maybe not. It’s not that big of a deal; I can just throw something in the washer whenever I get around to it.
At New Creation Family Home, however, Wash Day is a bigger deal than it is here for me, and it looks like a lot more fun.
Of course, more goes on there than just washing clothes. Most of these little guys wouldn’t need to worry about washing clothes if they weren’t living at NCFH, because they probably wouldn’t have a whole lot to wash. Or “warsh,” for my readers in the south.
I’ll be spending a few weeks there this July, and I’m planning to bring a lot of laundry with me. If you’d like to help support my trip or would like to get involved with the work of Loving One By One in Uganda, send me an email at c.millers.mail@gmail.com
